Top issues during term (5)(General)
Browns stadium lease dispute
Taxpayers are on the hook for expensive legal fees and potential court settlements because the city refused to pay a $1.1 million repair bill.
deer population control
While exact costs aren't set yet, taxpayer dollars will likely fund whatever new deer management plan the city and state cook up.
court technology upgrade
The court is investing $216,000 in taxpayer funds to replace aging hardware.
state of the city address
While the speech itself doesn't cost anything, the projects and updates mentioned will directly shape how your tax dollars are spent this year.
property land swap
This property swap avoids cash transactions for the land, but future development of the old school site could impact local tax rolls and city spending.
